slipper clutch

Hi i have a traxxas slayer pro 4x4 short course truck. Well i replaced the stock slipper clutch because i lost 2 out of the 3 pads. So i replaced it with the metal one and was wondering how tight do i tighten the nut??

Did you get the metal one new, as in a package?

Do not overtighten the nut!...snug it up real good then back it off a 1/4 turn

Just like it says in the instructions that came in the package.
