what rims are out there for the slayer? I've been out of the loop for bout 5 months had too many projects and work to get done so my rcs were on hold. I have 1/8 scale tires and wheels on it now but i am wanting a paddle tire set up for the rear got a beach house down in mexico so we plan to be down there at least a week during the next six months. thansk any info be appreciated.

I'm looking for a rim that i can put a paddle tire on not replacement sizes and from what i see nobody has a 1/8 scale paddle yet either

I'm running 1/8 scale rims and tire now for the better tires since the stock size and even the replacemnts suck

To me that is part of the charm of the Slash/Slayer and the 2.2 stuff--trying to get 'er to stick on that skinny rubber. Good luck on the paddle hunt.

I have a set of proline sand paws with HPI rims that I use on the slash but they are 12mm hex as opposed to 14mm on the slayer.

thats a bit pricey and heavy i bet. ill stick with the stock rims, maybe later on get some paddles

the back of the rim needs to be 2.9 tall to clear the bearing carriers thats why i am running 1/8 rims and tires right now
