Stock suspension in the rear? do you just have some thicker than stock oil or just really compressed springs?

Stock suspension in the rear? do you just have some thicker than stock oil or just really compressed springs?

Looks like a big ole stack of pre-load spacers in back. I do the same thing as they are WAY soft out of the box. Then again, I dont' race, we don't have tracks out here. Hell, most people don't even know you can buy RC cars anywhere other than Wal Mart.

yeah they are extremly soft. i put stiffer springs in the back wich helped a bunch.

ya but for me it was kinda lame to drive so damn soft like that but just personal preference. what bodies are those alpine? do sc10 bodies fit?

They are just the proline hardcore bodys for it.... idk, i never really checked if the sc10 fit on it..... I'm not too big of a fan of those bodys anyway... i like the sleek lo-pro look of the slash bodies.

Here you go.

It is fresh off the bench after a rebuild to repair damage from the last time I raced it.

It had a blown shock cap, bent shock shaft, busted rear skid and bent steering rod.

Upgrades include aluminum shock caps, ti nitride shock shafts, aluminum rods in the front, RPM skids, rear bumper mount, gear cover, front shock tower, carriers and arms. Also installed are a set of MIP CVD's. I have a Velineon brushless setup for it, but it is not installed since the next race in a couple of weeks is for stock motors only.

stock tires too right Rob? looks good though.

Yep. Still using the stockers.

That's an amazing paint job on that truck Rob, I'd never run it.

How do you like the RPM Skids?

Here's mine in fun mode, not many upgrades as it's a spec class racer. Sorry it isn't clean, haven't had time to clean it up lately. RPM rear hubs, Traxxas big bore aluminum shock caps. Running a Velineon 3s system at the moment for fun on a private track. Normally running stock electronics.

Yeah, good point. Usually between races when I inspect it and get it ready for the next race I clean all the parts. Right now the dishwasher is full though, so can't do that now. :hehe:

Next on my list is an SC10.
