I'm not a big fan of running with the lid off, and for cameras not a fan of either. The question is, do you like it. Your the one that has to like it.

Pretty good Video... Next time post a video with body on I myself don't like to run my Rig's without the body on.. & maybe some other type of terrain too & showing off what the Rig can do. Or have a friend shoot the video

I just buy those little mini spy keychain cams for like 7 bucks off of ebay. Bought a 32GB Class 10 microSD card to go in it. Very easy to velcro one to the lid. If you velco it toward the rear of where the "hood" would be the roof and the front of the lid is usually what gets beat up and protect the little keychain cam. Its pretty decent video too but you have to get a class 8 or class 10 microSD card otherwise it has a hard time keeping up with everything zipping by at 40+MPH

He's probably waiting for a post where you tell us your iPhone was broken while filming. lol Just be careful, I've seen too many posts and pics about phones on cars when they crash. I'd either go like GW said, and get the cheap camera or if you plan on really getting into the filming side, look into the GoPro.

+1 GoPro is nice if you can afford one. The bad part about gopros is they throw your center of gravity off really bad. They sure do take nice vid though. I agree with Schrode though. I used my phone on my kits before for GPS and have had it ejected from the kit several times. The last time my screen got broken. I highly recommend against using smart phones on the vehicles themselves.

I understand but i use an Otter Box. 99% indestuctable. And btw i get a new phone in October sooooo.... :) (its the iphone 3gs so i couldnt care less :D)
