1st break since having the truck , was jumping flat out up a 9ft half pipe and had a bad landing , just gives me an excuse to upgrade

nice break!!! I have been running 2s 4100mah and reall good speed.. I gotta rebuild the rearend in mine aswell to many burnouts on the tar!!!
It leaves posi strips thow so i had to do a few here and there l.o.l. I would grab extra c.v. shafts aswell!! just incase.

i take it wen i get some lipos il be breaking more then ordered the charger and gunna go to my lhs and get a lipo tommoro , I'm still runnin the 3300kv brushless motor at the motor so wen i go lipo hopefully will be able to gear it higher, is there that much difference between a lipo and a nimh ?

hopefully , its a bit more torquey than the stock with nimh but still havent experienced that wow factor yet lol , ordered some new wheels and tyres shock socks and some led light kits as fed up of not bein able to see it in the dark lol will post pics wen everything is on

there you go I hav mine geard with a 23tpinion and a 90t spur and not to bad on speed and take off!!!

If you really want wow after you get your 2s and have a 2nd one grab a 3s 5000mah(you wont want to use it all the time!!!! gets warm pretty quick!!) that will make you say wow!!!! mine just about took flight on its own!!

haha i can run 3s through my esc but not on my motor , if i do will this do damage ?? heres the spec http://www.modelsport.co.uk/fusion-exceed-sport-brushless-combo-13.5t/rc-car-products/34302 if the vxl sytem is rated 3500 kv and mine is rated 3500kv will i be able to gear it the same to get abit more top speed as am geared 19/90 and excel is good but top speed is a bit errrrrr if you no what I'm sayin. 35mph tops

I dont know my top speed on mine yet but when I fix the tranny I have a gps I can use to check top speed... I think going to a 23t pinion will give you higher top atleast thats what I was told.. with the brushless system you should be faster that 35mph.. expecially as soon as you get lipos!!!

you might just want to get the biggest 2s lipo with that system for a high speed run here and there.. When I use the 3s i have to run with no top.. I will be going with the mamba monster pro for the esc. cause it has a built in fan and when I want a bigger motor I can just swap motors.

jeese I got some catching up to do now.. l.o.l I am ordering an all metal geard transmission/rearend tomorrow I blew mine apart somewhere I just havent opend it yet.. I figured buy a new one and rebuild old one for a just incase moment. I did the same for the classic tmaxx. you are just missing the mudflaps... I need to get the rpm bumpers now so the flaps sit right. I have them rigged right now... been pissing the neighbors off with nitros since the slash is down.. Def. think about getting some paddles for the dirt insane speed instantly.

Just dont make it too heavy with the new peices.. the heavier you make it the bigger rated motor you will need to get the same speed you would get with stock parts.. just something to keep inmind.. I need to send in the sv2 sidewinder esc. to C.C. to get my new one I have put it off too long!!!

haha yeah I'm using the thinnest alu i can get my hands on i think the stuff is 1.5mm and ways next to nothing , wll see wat its like when the lipos turn up , as soon as the rest of my paypal balance clears will be ordering some flaps the rpm motor guard and maybe a front and rear bumber set , spent like 150 on it on the past couple days lol the wheels and tyres arent expensive ones but just wanted something with grip , but been looking at the pro line split six rims with bow ties mounted on them how grippy are these ? , how you trash your drivetrain ?? or do they go after a while with a bl setup ? wats up with your cc esc ???

I bought a new updated motor and esc. combo and the esc. just went they said they were going to replace it because it just does nothing... my tranny i havent opend it but something sounds like broken teeth..... that sux thats my fav. electric!!! Plus I bought mine used so I am impressed that it lasted this long for used and beaten hard and now it gets beaten all the time!!! tough as nails and mostly stalk.. I want to gget the 4wd version aswell and possibly the slayer pro.. if it is anything like the slash I am sold!!
