but to be honest i dont no wat I'm lookin at lol

that one and the 5700kv are the ones I was choosing from because you can use 3s lipo on the 4600 and the 5700. I am not sure how fast the 4600 is but it can't be to much slower than the 5700. or it might be the other way around I am not fully sure.

Yer id like to no what the kv does ie higher lower faster slower boy dont no . There is a Sct combo but you can only run 2s on it . And really wanna try out 3s coz they look mental . My lhs stocks fusion or exceed brushless combo's are they any good . Coz might see if i have enough and get one wen i pick it up on the 22nd . But then i got to get a charger and lipo's .

I like the CC myself not alot to compare it to thought.. but I think it is 4600 for lots of corners and jumps and the 5700 is more longer flats top speed.. thats why I got the 5700 because I am bashing mostly and the 5700 is quick enough off the line and is retarted top speed I need to clock it so I know how fast.. I hope this helps.

Retarted top speed Haha i like it. Yer it does ta . Il think il get the 5900kv then. And will get the cc would rather get a brand that people are familier with that way if i get stuck with anything people can help us out . I've got my lhs to order me an extra batterz. Got the 8.4 4300 mah batt. So hopefully 2 will give me an hour bashing untill i get the cc set up . Can you run nimh batt's through them cc set up's untill i get lipo's . Because i might be able to get it one go and get some lipo's wen i get the scrilla .

yeah you can run the reg batt's but I think they might not last as long. I havent tried it yet myself, but I see people selling brushless setups with the reg batteries and when you buy a brushless rig they come with the reg batteries.

I think I'm gunna get the 4600 combo . Coz I've heard you can get good temps with it and i dont really do flat out run's . Maybe once in a while . Then maybe after a while beef up the driveline and and get the 5700

I would say the secound or 3rd choice I really think you would like the 5700..

The first choice wouldnt work in the truck without alot of redoing because that fan that comes on that one wouldnt fit in the truck..

if you run the 5700kv with 23t pinion/ 90t spur it runs real good!! and the best part is the truck comes with the spare gears you will need.

It is still really fast with running 2s lipos!!!
And when you slap in 3s when you get fans that will fit and work insane speeds!!!!

Well finally got the chance to go in to my lhs to have a look today . I can't believe how much there is to em . Hardly nothing . Looks frickin sweet tho got the mike jenkins edition. And have ordered a overlander 8.4 5000 mah stick pack . Will this pack make it quicker ?

And is the suspension supposed to be so soft ?

yup suspension is real soft it looks cool as hell on a rough rough or terrain!!!! and yeah that 5000 will give it some pep in its step!!! thats the same color as my step sons!! I loike that top...

there is almost nuttin to them thats why they are so durable!! nuttin to break.. l.o.l. the most ruggid so far I think.. I want to get the 4wd version next and then I want the slayer!!!

oh rite cool cool , its the first time I've seen one i didnt think they were that big the shells are massive , it comes with the 2,4 spare pinion and spur some stickers :D:D:D gotta have some stickers lol how are those rims and tyres there tiny lol

they dont do too bad but I want to find a stickier rubber for the pavement.. they doo pretty good with the origional motor but when you get brushless you might want stickier ones too.... I use paddles on my brushless in dirt and sand.. and those tires for pavement and some dirt.

I take that back that is the top I have.. Is it mostly red??? with wite and black number 25??

Yer it is actually . The guys at my lhs can't get cc anymore and don't want to try that fusion exceed combo . So tink I'm gunna get the vxl system once i get a few bits and pieces . Wats the rear driveline like strong enough for a brushless set up ?

i havent had a problem (knock on wood) since I replaced the used shafts that were on there when I bought my slash.. I hear people like that system aswell.. never tried it yet but would like to.

np I am the same way when I get in a bind or before I buy something I know nuttin about. it helps!!! and you will definetly love that rig!!! as soon as you get that thing on some rough dirt you wont want to stop after you flip it over and over, and jumping with no problems.. The next part I am getting for mine is the mudflaps!!! those set the truck right off!!! now that I have seena truck with the flaps I think mine looks plain!!! I am going to be ordering a couple of fans for mine because with those big batt's I have create a lot of heat!!! I had some one tell me to get the aluminum rearend cover cause it helps cool it, I just didnt want to use any aluminum on the old slash.. but I guess if I can find the right one I might I just dont want my slash too flashy because It's always in for a beaten and gets scrachted all the time!!!

yer same here id rather have a rig that looks ruff and bashes hard than one that looks sweet and breaks all the time , it says the servo reciver and esc are waterproof does that mean the motor is waterproof ? coz dont wanna fiddlesticks it by gettin the motor wet coz i like puddles lol , and yer I've been lookin on google images for the slash hop ups and them mudguards with the roof light rack looks good , does my servo run off the battery or do i need a hump pack for that ? and if i wanna put lights on it do i need a reciever with extra ports ? cheers lol

servo does run off the main batt. and the lights thing it depends on which set of lights you want. if you just wnt like kc loght setup you can add another small pack or if you want the kit that is set up fpr brakelights and everything you will need to plug it in.. with the 2.4 you should have enough ports. the motor I don't think its water proff I know I have gotten mine and the rusty wet a few times and they still run great.. not submerged but splatterd and a little deeper puddle... well mud acouple times..
