Ok first off how do you pernounce Sirio

Second I'm thinking of getting the piston and sleeve but can i use the stock con rod with the new piston

Third is can i use the breakin procedue as i did for the stock one

I beleive it is Sear-E-O I have also heard Sear-O a lot but the correct is the first. I am not sure about using the stock conrod with the Sirio piston and sleeve.

1) Seer-ee-oh
2) Yes you can use the stock conrod.
2) Break it in like you normally do! Everyone has a different take on breaking in an enginge. I personally think some manufacturer's instrucitons to idle through 3 or 4 tanks blubbering rich are ridiculous! Idling that rich puts a lot of stress on a new engine.
Every manufacturer's directions will be different. The main points are to no overrev it untill it's broken in, and when it cools always set the pistion to BDC.

wheres a good place to order the piston and sleeve cause i just called both of my LHS's and neither have them?

Try towerhobbies.com i was just looking on there and isaw piston and sleeves but i didnt know which sirio you had.

no tower doesn't have it I've looked an I'm looking for the sirio piston nd sleeve for the TRX 2.5

Hey guys, The above thread from me should answer all of your questions and then some. Just incase you can't gather the info from the above thread.

YOU DON'T have to use the expensive Sirio Conrod. I used the Sirio conrod for increased longevity...period. Sirio themselves will tell you that their conrod doesn't increase the stroke but is built for durability with no focus on increased power. The Sirio piston and sleeve averages @ LHS's around here for $60.00. If you don't have allot of fuel through your TraxxASS conrod and it's looking great then I wouldn't bother spending the money on the Sirio conrod. IME TraxxASS builds tough conrods and I'd replace the conrod around 5+ gallons depending on wear and your own use of course. If your a hardcore racer it changes the variables and you'd want to opt for a strong conrod.

Peace
