Ok folks here's the deal....

I am running a Sirio .27 lump in my Savage and its a great engine but the trouble is, is that the pull starter on it is possibly the worst piece of poop ever. I have never EVER encountered such an unreliable pull starter, I have had to repair it god knows how many times and even from new the one way bearing would only grip the crank and turn it over once per pull. (even with the plug loosened slightly)

As you can imagine this makes starting a problem. Once started it runs like a dream.

The question is, does anyone know of a better way of starting it? I have sized up a Rotostart from a friends S-25 lump but this wouldn't fit (the back plates are different sizes) and ofna don't appear to do their one for this engine and the Schumacher one is a no go too?

Please help.

Thanks.
