Sirio .27 and Hyper 8 port questions...

As most of you know by now, i have both of the engines in the title. I am wondering if both engines are shimmed to run 30% fuel... I am going to switch over to white lightning 30% and need to know if they are shimmed properly already, or i need to add shims... Where would i find shims for them if i need them? And the last question is, what kind of plug should i use for both? :shrug:

u should try to stay with the plugs that come with the engies, i tend to run nova plugs, they seem to last longer for me, i dont like os specially the os8s find them to blow and they dont like the knocks, although i no theres some die hard os8 guys on here that will say there awesome, each to there own.

Most engines are already shimmed to 30% nitro but would pay to read up on your engine, plaidfish had a motor go early because 1 out of 3 of his rgs wasn't ready for 30% also depends on your altitude as to if you need to add or take away shims

Don't know about the Sirio .27 but according to HoBao the Hyper 21 is shimmed for up to 25% nitro at the factory. If you want to run 30% you need to add another 0.1mm shim - part No. 21004.

For a .21 engine running 25% nitro, NovaRossi recommend their "6" plugs, for 30% nitro they recommend their "7" plugs.
