simple questions for the mgt 3.0

Is there a replacement cover for that thin plastic main gear cover on the side of the truck? I'm starting to get grit and grim in it and doesn't seem to effective against bashes and keeping debris out.

Also, what size and type of rims and tires does the truck take? i can't seem to find any info, my nearest hobby shop (hobby town USA)..yippii, doesn't deal with Associated and wont offer much support..

Well I can't find the spur gear shield your talking about however I was able to confirm that the wheels are the same as the tmaxx savage and mgt 4.6. 14mm hub.

No problem! Wish I could help you on the cover but I'm coming up empty. Maybe I will find something though and if I do, I will report back

Maybe try to put the fuzzy side of velcro around the perimeter so it seals better?

thanks for the link, that may do. just try to get a good seal all around it, maybe with some quality tape.
