...should be sentenced to taking one off and replacing it for eight hours a day, 40 hours a week.

I sometimes think the vehicle's battery will be dead by the time I get that stupid net on. With the body work and chassis leaving the innards wide open for the front tires to throw debris inside, I'd hate to run without it.

There must be a convenient work-around... any tips?

Only run the truck on really clean grass? 🤷‍♀️😁🤣

With the popularity of this truck, I thought there would be a flood of posts with neat ideas on how to prevent the ingress of dirt/debris. I think I'll try to fabricate something out of wire screen or fine mesh to close off the open areas of the body behind the front wheels.

The first time I tried to put that thing back on, I threw it in the corner and cursed a little. Rc's are meant to get dirty.

The aftermarket ones that use velcro are way better.

Mine's never worn it, doesn't get any dirtier than my other models.

I guess since the motor and electronics are pretty well sealed up, I shouldn't be so worried about dirt and debris getting inside the body.

I'll toss the hair net aside and start feeling liberated. And dirty. 😄

I'd like to see a video of someone "easily" installing the OEM protective net. I just don't think that's possible but, if it is, it might be helpful for others to see the technique involved. 🤓

The only time I ever got it on easily is when I handed it to my wife and said 'put this on'. It fell off halfway through the run though.

Am I the only one exercising extreme restraint in not following up on this one? 😆

My work-around was to install one side of the net and wedge something outside it in the corners of its channel in the chassis below the two small tabs that the net hooks around. This keeps that side in place, only making it necessary to hook the other side of the net under the tabs on that side; much easier to do.
