Sidewinder 4 esc is not working after using castle link

I recently bout a sidewinder 4 with motor combo and its been running great for short course use. I also got the castle link v4 to be able to connect it to castle link 2 to see if there is anything i should look at. After connecting it and messing with small stuff it just stopped working and i can no longer run my car, What should i do to remedy this?

It may sound like a stupid question, but is everything connected properly?

Any LEDs coming on?

Also, have you tried connecting it back up to your computer to see if they'll talk to each other?

yes i made sure they were connected properly but everytime i go to connect it to my computer it just says "firmware not dected" so it goes to download and failes every time

it connected as it should and i could use the program but its in a never ending loop right now

Okay. So you had it connected, added the latest firmware and or made a few changes as you said. Hit Update and everything went fine?

Then the ESC was no longer responsive in the vehicle?

Completely dead? No signs of life? Cannot calibrate it?

And then just to further bookend this, it will also no longer talks to your computer?

Have you tried restarting your computer?

Reinstalling Castle Link?

Tried a different cable?

I couldn't get my Castle Link to work, it was in the package with a cable. I switched the cable and it worked. Now I have THAT cable in the package with the Castle Link

My final solution would be to recommend you contact Castle if you cannot get anywhere with it.
