Hey guys i w]have noticed lately that when i hold my finger over the exhaust to shut it off its not shutting off... is there a better way of shutting it off?

I just put my thumb on the flywheel on most of my rigs. I always seem to burn myself trying this on my savvy so I usually just pinch the fuel line.

Sometimes access to the fuel line is not readily available and it's not convenient to take off the body = handle of a screw driver on the flywheel . . .

If you are blocking the stinger doesn't shut down the engine . . . well . . . you are not blocking the exhaust = you have a leak.

Replace the header gaskets - one is leaking.

Yes it will, just how much depends on how you've tuned your lsn. Well you're at it look up fuel line pinch test on here in the nitro stickies, you never know you might just improve your tune.

(lol I'm all about the lsn today)

i like to stop it with the flywheel. when you pinch the fuel line it leans out the engine for a short time and it can't be to good doing that over and over agian.

I agree with punisher on this one. If plugging the exhaust does t shut it down the. You have a leak in the exhaust line somewhere between the engine port and stinger. This will also cause your tune to stay lean so you need to find and fix it. If your running a plastic pipe check it for cracks.

The only time I have to shut down my rigs is when the receiver battery is getting low or I'm leaving for the day. I've always plugged the exhaust to stop the engine.

I also strongly agree to this statement!
