I love your truck. Looks like you read the same article on how to make a cold air intake as I did.

Motor savers are great filters.Originally posted by cozea
ya but i need a new airfilter, my truck used to be a magic wheel and it still has the filter it came with. and it sucks. I'm thinking ill get a motor saver filter, but is there a better one?

Just thought I'd let you know I dumped the white bumper things and found some black grommets to replace them today.

Hey Maxx Trooper, what fuel tank is that on the second pic and how did you mount it?
Oh yes I would. I use my dremel extensivly on all of my rc's and a ton of other things around the house. Most of the things I use my dremel for are probably against the intent of the makers but it works for me!Originally posted by olds97_lss
You wouldn't beleive the smoke a dremel makes with rubber grommets... my wife is still complaining about the smell.

I've done that one more times than I'd care to remember.Originally posted by olds97_lss
Thanks.
I've replaced 7 plastic tanks on my maxx and only one was due to impact on the actual tank. I keep splitting the bottom of it.
