I was only kidding. But to avoid looking like an idiot, i thought i'd explain the "why" for the stuff I have made.

I don't care. I figured I'd get some ribbing about it. I figure if I replace the same thing more than twice, it needs something different. And I'm lazy. I don't like working on it if i don't have to.

I do have to rethink the door stopper thing. It looks retarded. I just need to find a hunk of black rubber somewhere and form it a bit to make it just as effective, but less stupid.

Doesn't anyone else run half bodies? I keep ripping mine apart. @ $25 a wack, I just cut it off and mount it differently. I still have the original body from 9 months ago.

It still protects the electronics and the front shock tower. Also makes it still resemble a truck.

Olds, we're not bustin on ya, and my last post was serious. I tear the crap outa my savage bidies.

My rides

Dude, don't get your panties in a bind. Unlike Error, I was not razzing you. I was feeling quite a bit better when I think of all the things I've jerry rigged over the years that functioned perfectly but looked like crap.

cool trucks guys the last pictures , the full roll cage he has ITS AWESOME light, strong, and CHEAP (40$ebayshipped) i learned how not to do backflips with it.

i say rockon to innovation! customize it with custom stuff from lowes! I'm working on a homemade roll cage using metal from a shopping cart that suddenly appeared in my garage.... i run my old body which is only the cab (the stock t-maxx body (the older one) is awesome) it lasted forever.

as far as my custom stuff they are slim right now...
BUT I'm workign on a homemade roll cage and dual gas tanks
I'm also going for s t-maxx gone buggy. I'm gonna try to put buggy rims/tires on with super stiff springs/heavy oil and lower the ride hight and get some of those rubber things that limit shockdowntravel and get the CG way way way down... its gonna be fun:D

As long as we all have fun right. I feel bad I may have started this. I was just really curious what that was as I live in California and I have neer seen anything like that. I was truly curious is all.

Dude, I'm gonna say this one more time, I wasn't ( was not ) bustin on Olds. Damn, I was complimenting him on his enginuity and resourcefulness.

If anyone took my compliment the wrong way, deal with it. My poop aint stock either, and alot of it looks like crap, but it works too.

Ok ya Maxx freaks, I'm-a takin my bitchass Savage driving ass back to Savage land.

Denial Denial Denial. F' it man.

Thanks for the compliment.

Oh yeah, El P, thongs don't bunch!!!

I just finished installing 4 9.5 buggy shocks on my maxx.

Take a look:

Can't beat em, join em.

You are correct sir... I hated the stock tires and saw how a guy's savage hooked up where i run with savage stock tires. So, i bought em and mounted em. They aren't as stiff as stock nor are they as soft as imex medium. I only ran them about 5 minutes 3 weeks ago. Haven't been out since. To damn cold.

5 minutes and busted my shock tower.

1/2" pvc is what it's made out of. (the stand)

Personally, I like the Proline Maxx Mulchers (the step pins) on stock Maxx rims.

I have step pins on my stadium truck. They wear down to fast.

I wish pro-line would make their dirt hawg tire for the standard size maxx rim and not just the 40-series.

The mulchers are awesome in loose stuff. I don't run them on hard pack or pavement though. The rubber proline uses is pretty hard IMO, but that's a good thing with the mulchers. I like the stock HPI tires too, but the kind of jumping I do makes the rims cut into the rubber.

BTW, traxxas rims can't be beat for the price, and they're tough as nails to boot.
