Should i get credited?

I placed an order thought tower hobbies on Mon, 24 Nov 2003.Today is the 1st, of December and there is still no package. I paid an extra $7.00 to ship it priority mail. It was for 3-day delivery. I no it was thanksgiving this week, but that’s only one day. It’s been seven since day of order. And I called them 5 min. after placing my initial order to add something to it and they told me it is to late it is already on the truck do to its a priority shipment and that was on the 24th. It is now the first and still no package. Do you thank I should be credited the seven dollars.

You should, but they will probably tell you that they can't do nothing about it. Tower will tell you you have to call however they have ship their stuff in order to get credited. I think if you pay for something, you should get it, but sometimes sh!t happens and you get screwed. Sorry for the bull that you are ging through and I hope you get it straighten out.

You didn't read the TowerHobbies website regarding shipping.

Their website basically says that if you pick something like 3 day priority you are picking a shipping method, NOT the amount of time its going to take from the time you order till you receive it. Thats the shipping time. It doesn't include the time it takes them to get it ready to ship and to the Post Office. That could be another couple of days....

You also had a Holiday in there too, Thanksgiving....

I'm not trying to defend TowerHobbies, I did the same thing too and automatically assumed that I would receive my order 3 days from the time I submitted my order.

When I didn't receive it in 3 days, I was going to contact them until I reread their shipping info...

What does the order status say? If it doesn't say shipped then TowerHobbies still hasn't shipped it yet. You also forget that a lot of companies shutdown the day after Thanksgiving too. I would give it until Wednesday before I started to sweat.

its just seven dollars. ohh well, it happens. maybe you should call them and explain the situation before the same thing happens as in the harcohobbies thread.

Also, when you check your order status, there should be a tracking number somewhere on that page. You can see where your package is an a heartbeat. I am with the other guys. It's a holiday week. I'd say at least wait today and tomorrow until you call them..

Normally this would be true if you used FedEx or UPS. USPS tracking sucks. All it shows you is when your packaged left and from what location.

this is kinda off the subject but i bought from a place before and ordered 2 day air, for 18 bucks. it didnt come for like 2-3 weeks. i finnaly called and they gave a $25 gift certificate and refunded my monmey. they told me it was on backordered wheni called them 2 weeeks later. but this wasn't from tower hobbies. just some internet website for DJ equipement.

They always email me an order comfirmation along with tracking info. Did you track your package to see where it is at?

Thanks I will call them and see what they say, if I do not get refund; then, I will do like I have done all the times before. This one free shipping 2 week delivery and everyone is happy.

well i get my stuff delivered fedex and it says there shipping companies dont run on sat. or sun...and plus thanksgiving and black friday...i order my stuff on saturdays.cause when i order it then i know i will come thursday or friday...cause the last few times i orded it came by friday

Being that they're a large company, they might credit you.

3 days is the "estimated" time. US postal service wont give a damn, they have 30 days until it becomes lost.


If Tower sent your order in a reasonable time, it's not their fault.

Yeah good luck they don't deal with you like they are an LHS that's for darn sure. I guess that is the price that you pay for their low prices. I too have tried to add something to my order with the five minute scenario and nothing. OH well they are the biggest hobby retailer that I am quite aware of I would say good luck in trying to get a credit on a $7.00 order. Good luck though

It was a $210 order 7.00 shipping fee. Well they said it shipped that day and it is out of their hands. Wants it leaves there warehouse they or no longer responsible for the shipment the shipper is.
