Hey Guys,

I guess I should have posted in this area first...... I have found two batteries that ar 4S with at least 45C rating. I am using a Tekin RX8 Speed control and the T8 1900kv motor. Would I notice a huge difference between the two batteries? Would either work with an 1/8th scale buggy ok? Thanks!

I just picked up two Reedy 4S 5500 60C. I wish you would have posted earlier, lol. I would have tried them out for that price.

That's what I am looking at too.... there are so many batteries out there to choose from. I have bought NiMh packs from these guys before and they are great to deal with and they seem to have great products. I do not race primarialy anymore and so I am going through the process of asking myself.. .do I really need a 55C battery... or would a 45C do just fine for me.

40C will do just fine and 90% of the time so will a 30C. I run my 30C lipos in my 100+MPH Rustler and they get warm but not hot. My 40C's dont even get hot. Thats a Castle 2200kv motor and MMM ESC.
