I have the 6 cell NiMH Team Orion cell pack and I replaced the stock motor on my Mini-T with a Baja motor and my runtime is about 1/10th as long if it is even that long. With the stock motor I was getting at least 40 minutes of run time - a lot of that hard running but this Baja motor is barely getting 5 minutes.

What is going on here? Is this normal?

The Baja draws much more power but U should get more than 5 minutes. To gain more run time gear down to about a 8 or 9 tooth pinion this will give u a couple more minutes and will keep the motor cooler.

How Many MAH is your pack? 5-10 minutes on a mod motor is normal. More like 10 for your setup but no longer than 15.

I am using the Team Orion Supercharge 1200mAh 7.2 Volt Micro Pack. When I use the stock motor I get good speed and over 30 minutes of hard running time while with the Baja I get 5 to 7 minutes if that.

Where are you guys getting your new pinion gears? I am having a heck of a time finding any and would love to try one of those lower number pinions.
