Anyone know of some budget wheels/tires (set of 4) that would fit the sc10? I don't care about quality too much bashing and practice. Just seeing if I can save a few bucks and save my good tires for the track.

Your A racer .. cheap tires handle way different than your race tires. just a fyi...dont know what you race on but in my many years of racing. tires matter..from carpet to clay to dusty lume.. I found tires are best when you have a few laps on them anyway

I use these for all my trucks: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4PCS-1-10-...eel-Rim-For-TRAXXAS-SLASH-HPI-US/401757718984

You do have to glue them, but they come with foams, and although they do wear out fairly quickly, i just take the tires back off and then reuse the wheels for better tires.

I found these for $24. I guess that's as low as it goes so I grabbed some.

Yeah, I understand all of that but I don't race....yet. I drive on dirt, grass, concrete and asphalt for now since I'm just getting back into the hobby. That's why I wanted some "cheap" wheels/tires.

I think those are a good choice. My only concern is the foams inside. They break down super quick.

My all time favorite tire is the Pro-Line Badlands SC. I can get a good 3 years out of them if running off-road surfaces only. Actually, I'm on my fourth year with one set of Badlands on my SC10. To get the most traction out the worn down knobbies, I took Dr.Emel to them.

I'll probably retire this set and start with a fresh set of Badlands in the spring.

The ones you listed, because of the shipping, are actually more than these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4Pcs-Tires...H-RC-1-10-Short-Course-Car-Truck/264936344699 since these are free shipping. The stock Associated tires tend to be a bit stiffer, since they are made for all surfaces and designed to last longer, but that translates to mediocre traction no matter what surface you are on.

I'll keep those in mind. These stock ones seem to hold up so may just use these for running on whatever surface and get good tires for when I get back into racing. $24 for a set isn't too bad.

if your just bashing id try some tri dots . had several sets and the lasted in dirt grass ..

I have personally used the ones that Biggman recommends and the ones that TRX1 recommends. The Biggman's tires worked best for grass and soft to medium dirt. TRX1 tires lasted longer and handles better on street.
