hey,
well i've decided i want to theme my buggy with some colours. has anyone got some cool shell designs of theirs. and does anyone know of where i can go to get a custom paint job on my buggy shell and has anyone done it themselves.
[Pictures would be awesome]
Thanks,
Matt

FRB has painting skillz himself, but is to modest to let it be known.

and just think FRB only 8 more posts and you finally get an avatar. So at this rate you will have it by Thanksgiving. FRB probably one of the most deserving of an avatar, not one post of spam I can ever remember!

hey
has anyone ever used chrome paint? i think it would look pretty awesome a chrome chell with either some decals or flames i want some thing blue on it. but any way chrome paint anyone use it or is it really bad?

dont paint your whole car in chrome, most people do it colour front and rear with center of car in chrome, or front half colour rear half chrome, you know what i mean chrome hard to see by its self

yeh so if i go the middle colour thing what do you recon about blue flames at the front going to the chrome in the middle and then they like flame into a black back section?but what do you mean chrome is hard to see?i do know what ya mean but i dont. if you know what i mean?lol

Chrome

Just remember if your going to race you want to keep your paint so you can see it, inother words bright is better but some peole get away with dull depends on how young your eyes are, colour comes down to personel choice.

i'll have a look at what it looks like first hey but yeah i have got my original shell the ultra lx comp pretty bright so i can switch

the best way to see if colours go is to spray them on off cuts of body or to spray a coke bottle then look through the hole

i sort of wanted to try my own it'd be my first shell but b4 i do it i want as much information about painting as possible. and i definately need an airbrush because it'll look much better then a ccan job hey?

Silver make sure you clean body with alcohole first to get rid of any finger prints and residual mould release wax bfore you start, your right about the spray cans but if you going to use a brush get some practice first there not that easy to use, remeber to get a lexan/ polycarbonate compatible paint or it will crack and fall off

yeah i think i'll need heaps of practice to get it right but its better then doing a botchy job

This guy (Sean) is awsome.
