Can anyone give me some info on this engine....I'm thinking of buying one for my LSP

If you get it for your LSP go to a 15tooth clutch bell, I had one and I couldn't control it with the stock 13 tooth. Its a great mill for the price, I put a gallon through mine and it was just starting to wake up. I sold the truck after that.

My father has one in his monster gt and the thing is an animal! I would not hesisate to get another...well if i had a truck to put it in that is!

I just broke mine in. It started real easy. If you do get it with a pull start there are some mods that need to be done to get it to fit in the LSP. YOu have to shim the motor up and either change to a different pull start or dremel the enging mount. So far so good for me though. I am taking it out to the track today so I will know more then.

Awsome engine, got one in my Savage and have had to put a wheelie bar on it from HPI to stop it from flipping over, and thats with 18/47 gearing...only just finished breaking it in as well!! Seems to be getting better and better.

Only problem I've had is the pullstart string braking, I've put some 100lb fishing line on there now and it seems to be holding fine.

Now that's a good idea,
any recoiling issues with it????

So far so good no issues at all...only had a couple of runs with it tho so I guess I'll find out this weekend when I go and test out the 3-speed, reverse and new gearing.
