Yes, I'm running semi droop(springs under pistons, none above) At full droop my clearance is the same as with spring set-up(2.5) I'm running on the same courses with no more hang-ups than before. But much better climbing & sidehilling. You have to pick your lines for sure, But you should be anyway, Right?

yeah u should be picking your lines anyways lol.

well i got 16 gates now and will prolly try to get some pics of it in action, its not a extreme course but its fun and in a nice cool spot so i dont have to sweat my butt off standing there.

heres just a couple pics of gates 1 through 6, my batteries died in my camera so this is all i took but i have 16 gates setup though.

Wow you suck (I tried to find a smiley on here to give you the bird but didn't see one, so just imagine it lol). I'm so jealous, that's a great course. And with rocks like that, I just KNOW you've probably got TONS of other places to go crawling.

yeah man, where 4-6 and 10-12 markers are usually has a nice little trickle of water running through it wich is cool lol. this course is by a pond wich has trees and stuff. i have another one but its like 8 miles from my house but its small but very hard how i have it marked out, i love it. i keep trying to get some other guys to come out and crawl here but i dont think they think i have any good setups.

8 miles... It takes nearly 3 hours to get to Shreveport, which is the closest spot I got with more than one rock in one place lol.

ha ha that sucks!!! these are actually just like the clean, less weedy spots but theres seriously just miles after miles after miles after.............. of rocks piled along the canals and what not, but most of them arent very fun, but then theres also a place (havent crawled there though) called "craters of the moon" national park wich is nothing but big lava slabs and stuff, i will prolly go check it out.

I've seen some incredible pictures of comp courses set up in hawaii, and pretty much everything they crawl on is nothing but old lava rocks.

^^^yeah these lava's are good but the problem with most of them around here are that they have alot of dirt stuck to them and u just spin. but these in my pics are pretty clean cuz water runs over them part of the time.

Hawaii is nothing BUT old lava rocks, and maybe a bit of black sand, and a few bits of pummice and tufa :P It's hard to find anything much else when you live on the edge of an active volcano in the middle of the Pacific ;)

Course looks really cool slowgreen, I'd love something like that near me!

actually having all this rock where i live is prolly a real good reason for me getting into crawling, i would drive over (try) rocks with my maxx and thought it was bad a** so i checked out some vids of crawlers and it blew my frickin mind!!! I'm SO glad i got into it too, its all i think about now lol.

ok guys I've been trying to upload some vids but I'm having trouble with photobucket but i got one to load on cardomain...the vid doesn't do justice to have good (imo) some of this is but i think those of u who have videod ur self or a buddy crawling should be able to tell by the angle of the truck and stuff bla bla bla lol.

So you were able to shoot video WHILE you were crawling?? I still haven't been able to get things that coordinated, unless of course I'm not holding the camera. I haven't watched the video yet, but if you're holding the camera, recording your rig in action, and driving the crawler all at the same time, you deserve a trophy or something. With my luck, I would get close to a river, try to take a picture, squeeze the wrong finger, and send my rig lurching into the river to be swept away into the river.

no, I've tried a bunch to video and drive at the same time but it will go fine for a while then the truck will go outta the picture and i will still be aiming the wrong way, i shot a 3 min vid a couple weeks ago and the truck was only in it for the first 10 sec. and the last 10 seconds lol.

Nice vid, slowngreen Makes me envious. I'm looking at a couple of cameras now, Can't make up my mind on one. I need to just pull the trigger & shoot.LOL!

thanks ron i appreciate it. yeah i dont know anything about camera's, this is just one my parents bought for me when i graduated high school lol so its old school, it sat in the box for about 6 years and i finally decided id learn how to use the damn thing lol.

i have 26 gates now, have not run it yet but alot of the spot i have to reverse so definatly gonna need a dig setup before to long lol. i'll try to get a pic or two up of some of the new challenging spots.

How far apart are your gates? I'm not sure, but in the video it looks like they're kinda far apart. You might want to make sure that you're practicing with comp width so it wont be any different when you get to the comps.
