Servo question

I have ran my car twice and 2 servos broke and stuck with my car on full throttle. any ideas of whats going on or is it just bad luck?

Type of rig (car) your running, pics of the setup under the hood, what part of the servo broke, was it the actual servo or the horn? The more info you can give us about your rig and problem the better we can help.

If you are not setting the servo endpoints properly it will cause these kinds of problems.
Also using the rubber mounting grometts(SP) helps servo life tons. Vibration kills them.

servo endpoints? you mean how far it goes in either direction, like throttle distance and brake? if so I'm pretty sure i have those adjusted good, but the servo just quits moving. I haven't recieved any mounting grometts with any of the 3 servos i've ordered. Heres the buggy I'm working on, it has only been ran about 35 minutes and had 2 servos break. 1 was broke when i got the car nib and the other was replaced by the company. http://www.rctoys4less.com/wholesale-Products/Default.aspx?ProductID=114

I would recommend going to your LHS and buying a good servo. Most unheard of brands most likely have ripoff things that are bound to break. With a servo from a known brand (JR, Airtronics, Futaba, etc.) You will get a servo that will last longer. If that doesn't solve it than I guess that you are setting your endpoints too far and the servo is working so hard to get it to the end (Where it can't go) that it'll just die out.

Theres no hobby shops around here with rc stuff. How do i know if the servo's end point is to far? I just hook it up and make sure the carb goes full throttle and the brake works. Is there a better method or something i should try?

Being that it is a RTR basic radio you probably don't have the endpoint adjustments.
Just make sure the servos are not trying to move further than is needed. It needs toopen the carb all the way without overstressing the servo. Same thing for the brakes. You follow?
