I'm having a problem with my T-Maxx. I have the stock servos in it. When I turn the truck to the right and then try to go straight, the wheels only return halfway to center. I picked the wheels up off the ground, and that's when I saw that when I turn left and then let go of the wheel, the servo centers itself, but when I turn the wheels to the right and let go of the wheel, they only begin to turn to center about a third of the way and stay there. Then when I turn left again, it returns to center again. Does this sound typical of a servo beginning to go out, or could I have a problem somewhere else?

You could have a problem with something binding. Disconnect the servo and move your front steering by hand and see if you feel a difference from one side to the other.
Also, put a control arm on your servo and put a load on it with your fingers while you turn right and left with the Tx, and see if you feel a difference.

Lets say there is no binding, when a servo goes bad, does it quit returning to center sometimes?

If it's missing a tooth or two, but then it wouldn't be going either way properly since it would skip there every time.

Well it must be something binding, it doesn't seem to be skipping at all. I thought maybe it was an electrical problem inside the servo, whatever is in that lil black box , I know less about that any other part on my RC.

Sounds like it could also be your servo saver. If you have a spare horn, change it out and see if the truck steers like normal. If not, then you may want to look into an upgraded servo. Something with metal gears would be just the ticket.
