Servo Case Replacement?

there should be some screws on the bottom that you can remove and then take the case apart where you will find gears and a motor.

unless your talking about a car, it depends on what car your trying to get the servo out of.

Well I've done that...taken the screws out, removed the top.... but I can't get the servo out of it's case? Well, the main case only has a small crack/piece missing.... maybe super glue a piece over it.

what servo are you changing the case for? If its a jr I would look into their warrenty program. Free repairs if I remember correctly.

What did you break? The ear tabs? If so, just replace that part. That way you don't have to mess with the POT and unglue the engine from the center piece of the case.

Due to a major crash, both ends Tabs where broken... And I think this one took a major shot due to the noise and vibration it was making. I did replace the top on the other, and destroyed the rest of the noisy one in taking it apart. But I now know how to do it without breaking it.

If it's a Hitec, they are in Poway (Down the street from my employer). Not sure where you are in SD?

Hey man I'm pretty sure that JR has a lifetime warentee on their stuff. Google them to find their website and do some research.
