Serpent SRX8T Questions

I'm contemplating buying a Serpent SRX8T Truggy from a guy for a very fair price and from what I can tell the SRX8T is the latest model they have out. I've seen the Serpent brand around for years but I've never owned one. Which leaves me with 2 questions.

1) Is the Serpent brand a proven race worthy platform like Losi, AE, Mugen etc?

2) Is there a good amount of after market support out there for these?

Anyone familiar with the Serpent brand or this Truggy in particular?

All I know is it is in the top with the rest that you mentioned an is being used
at big race events an other races!
I would not miss the deal on that one ,just a kit new kit alone can exceed up to a $ 1000 bucks!..

Oh an ,everything now is on backorder if you want to buy any racing brand platform!

I picked up this very clean slider for $410. Claims hes only got one race one it.

Seemed like a really good deal I just dont know much about the Serpent brand other than the name
