Senton 6s, worth buying?

Found this Arrma Senton 6s local to me and it’s obviously been ran hard and put away wet. He’s asking $350. Said he would take $290. Is it worth buying and giving it a very much needed refresh? I’m talking new wheels, body and whatever else that I can see. New body is $95.99, new wing is $16.99, new wheels are about $60 for all 4 coming to a total of about $170. Just seeing if it’s worth it on my end. It would just get a rebuild/refresh and most likely become another “shelf queen”

Seriously, if fixing up a mess is your thing... go for it. I wouldn't touch it unless the price was half of what it was new, and divide that by two, because of the seller's "presentation." A filthy RC, trying to be sold, has me just skippin' right on by the posting each and every time. That's just me.

I'm a no... there are lots of 1/8 scale SCTs on the market right now, with solid parts support. I'd look at a Mojave 6S (if Arrma is your preference) over the Senton.

Team Corally Shiroi, smaller than a Mojave 6s and bigger than a Senton 6s, comes as a roller or rtr, I wouldn't buy that 2nd hand rig it looks wreaked..

Finding a Typhon 6S in pretty new condition for $290 is pretty easy. Buying a V5 Typhon and converting it would probably be the move.

Smart move. There’s a lot about this guys pictures that screams “I couldn’t be bothered to do basic maintenance on this thing and it’s absolutely thrashed.”
