Saying goodbye to my brother and friend - Tunedfrog

I am struggling for words. Thats not something that happens to me often.

@Tunedfrog, we talked here often. I enjoyed your musical suggestions, your builds, comments, jokes, suggestions and all.
You were gifted in so many ways.
Heaven is lucky to gain what we have lost.

Fly high, hop far!

I hope we'll meet again soon! Save me a seat on your lilypad!

My heart is heavy.

I'm sorry for all his family and IRL friends.

I'm sorry for everyone else here who feels as sadly as I do right now too.

Yes, this is very sad. It was evident from his posts that he was battling a malignant tumour. Early in July, he seemed positive with progress, then his last post - chemo was 'kicking his butt'.

Well Tunedfrog - I genuinely hope the food up there is better than the stuff I saw you posting about down here.

Rest in peace, by RC comrade.

R.I.P. my friend

I'm so sorry to see him go, but I'm glad his suffering is over.

He was a great guy to me here on the forum, and I'm sure his family will miss him dearly.

Condolences to all who knew him.

Adding my own goodbye to John (@Tunedfrog) on behalf of RCTalk.

Tunedfrog gave this community years of his time, his knowledge, and his humor, and he never asked for anything back. The help he offered here is still out there in old threads doing its job for people he'll never meet. That's a real mark to leave on the hobby. I'm going to miss you dearly my friend.

To his family, thank you for sharing him with us. He mattered here more than he probably knew. Our thoughts are with you.

Rest easy, John.

man i was just talking to him last month, thats rough news, even my wife recognized his name.
he will be missed
id give anything to have something built by him, the frolicking frog was epic, he was so creative and good at what he did
those guitars? collectors now, his fly fishing lures? none like them will be made again, a legend lost

Come to think about it, I have been hearing about quite a few RC brothers dropping off lately. Even here, it looks like we might have lost TNTProof. He has always been around, but I haven't seen him post on here in almost 2 years.
