Savage XL spur/clutch gear meshing

Odds are, it will give you good mesh if it's tight with a 17. Personally though, with that engine, your probably going to want to buy a smaller spur or it will be wheelie happy.

That's kind of the opposite... smaller spur = faster/less torque, smaller bell = slower/more torque. Let us know how it goes.

Okay, I've gone for a 47tooth spur, I'll see where that gets me and update

I have installed the new spur and the mesh is good! thanks for all the help guys!
