sorry I was out the conversation so long. Playing wit da truck. Thank You olds!!!!! That made total sense to me! Definitely clarified the pich subject for me. The kid I got this off who has been doing this stuff for at least 8 yrs kept say pinch this and pinch that when he ment replace the whole time. I even got to clarify this for him wich felt good hahahha cause he trys to be a no it all! olds u the man all ur info I get from u make sense all the time thank you for your help and patience!!!!!!!
almost forgot mill needs work for sure think ill wait like 2 more weeks till the funds are back up and buy a new mill!!!!!!
still going to put it all back together and try and fire it up just cause! If any one has a heads up on a good mill slightly used send me a pm please SLIGHTLY used

ok guys I'm back wit some new questions! Savvys missing a few screws there all the same kind about 1/4 long 1/8 thick machine screws. I guess I'm just going to buy a screw set but the only ones I could find on ebay are for a savage ss or xl I think either one should have what I'm looking for right? Probably going to get the ss set. I'm looking at a adam drake singnature series .30 mill on ebay any thought on this? Its brand new in the box!

looked at that link thankx the only thing is I would hate to pay all that much for like six screws the set on ebay was like only six bucks.
well I thought the rig was clean yesterday. but this morning I decided to take it all apart at least down to where I didn't get over my head the only thing I didn't take apart were the diffs and knuckels this thing is spotless hahahaha.
found some more parts that need to be replaced tho but I don't know what there called maybe someone could help?
ok they look like metal dowls that slide inside a shaft on the bulk heads and u screw the frame to them one on each side.
I can't get the screws to thread ( dowls are striped)
think I might try to find them screws at the hardware store they don't look like anything special. so all I should have to find is them dowls and a mill. I put a bid on that adam drake mill the seller was sapost to have accepted it so I dono if I'm going to get it?

The part you are talking about is the joint post. You will need to remove the screw some way (Maybe using pliers to pull them out?) then replace them with new ones.

If you go buy them at an LHS make sure you get the round ones, not the hex shaped ones. The hex shapes ones are for the Savage X bulkheads.
I agree with RC Addict. Putting money down onto a screw kit will save you from the headaches of stripped Phillips heads. I would think that you may have messed up the threads on the screws that go onto the joint posts too, so might as well. Best investment I've ever made.
