ok I'm haveing my dilema again what should i get the savage x ss or the revo 3.3

I wanted the revo cus I just HATE pull starts and an ez start sound great,
I wantd the savage cus everyone sais they are the best and i can build it my self

I dont race only bash but maybe when i get a car and i can go myslf to the races then i can go race....
i dont really care right now how tough it it because i like to upgrade and claim that i made the upgrade....

the revo also has reverse the savage does not plus it has a tunning engine dvd i think......BUT...... I like the savage cus of its size,,,,, i wanted something big and the, specs are....

hight of savage is 10" revo 5"
length of savage 21" revo 19.4"
width of savage 7" revo 7"

so as u see here the savage is bigger. The price is better except one thinkg if i buy the rorot start like the revo has the ez start and put a 3 channle radio with reverse then the price will ether be more or aboutt the same i think more but watever, so theres not much difference in the price.

I wanted something witha good ground clearence that can drive orver anyhting easily, especiall grass my rc10gt can not do that. I want something with an easy to start methiod and easy engine. something pretty fast.

all my hobby shops supply parts for both so i dont have to worry about that.

But i just can't decide more. My mind is maid up I'm gonna get one of these 2 please do not recommend anthing else. just please help me out in these.

I don't know about the Revo, but i just got a used savage that i plan to upgrade also, and i love my buy, you might want to look into something used maybe... i dunno if you are lookin at that option bc if you get one that the motor is already crapped out than its cheaper anyways and you can use that extra money for other stuff. Just a suggestion.
also i love the size of the Savage. It's freakin huge.
hoped that helped in someway.

Your size specs seem a little off.

While the Savage is bigger, it isn't by much.

Savage guys will recommend the Savage and Revo guys will recommend the Revo. It is best to check out the 2 forums and decide for yourself. This Savage vs Revo question has been asked before more times than most people can count.

IMO alot of the Pros you mentioned for the Revo will soon become cons...
the EZ start is neat....but you will soon ditch the blue Glow plug wire for a regular ignitor (almost everyone does) and you will be carrying around a battery starter unit and a GP ignitor anyway...it's not much more to carry the roto-start or a drill and the GP ignitor.......and while the reverse on the Revo is way better than the T-maxx was it still adds rotational mass that's really not necessary, and most people upgrade to the FOC kit.........
I like the Savage for the durability but it drives like a brick jacked up on wheels IMO......but it just seems to be the best jumping truck I've ever seen....more reliable engine right out of the box, not by much, but the TRX mills tend to just crap out WAAAAY faster from what I've seen.......the Revo does kill it in handling right out of the box, but won't be the most durable of the 2.....

I've had a few savages and two Revos now...and IMO the Revo 3.3 is the better all around truck. It offroads well, it jumps well, it handles well, its durable, and its pretty damn fast with the 3.3 engine.

The Savage is probably the better jumper of the two, and has the edge in durability, but it handles awful, and I find the Revo's suspension is actually better for offroading.

You will be happy with either truck, it just depends on which you like the looks of really. Also keep in mind you will hafta build the Savage, which could be a good or a bad thing depending on what you want.

I'm a basher only. I take out my revo (with OS18, RPM arms, upgraded shocks, electronics) when I want to play. I take out my savage when I'm serious. Normally, I run a tank or two through the revo to get my bashing session started (about 1/2 hour). Then I spend the rest of the time with my savage or mammoth (+2-3 hours). Granted, if I was racing, I'd want the revo. But for grass running, skatepark running and general bashing, it's not the best.

The revo just can't take the same kind of air time after time like the savage can. Plus, for stump pulling torque, you can't beat a cheap big block that will drop right in.
