So I plan on putting some trenches x's on my flux. Stock pinion is a 20t. I ordered a 17t pinion. Think that be ok? I don't want it to burn up another esc.

I'm running Badlands on mine, with a 18t. Badlands are smaller then Trenchers X's though so I 17t should work. I've never had heat issues with my ESC, but I only run 4s.

Anyone have a comparison photo of trencher x's next to stock revo tires or the t-maxx 3.3 tires? I really like the tread pattern of them and kind of wanted a set, but I htink they are too large for my taste.

Yea they are a lot bigger than stock servo tires. Heavier too. A lot more mass.

I love my Badlands, very aggressive tread, very slow wear to them. I run mainly in mid length grass and loose dirt and get excellent traction. I swear I could a lawn with them the way it rips grass up.
