Nothing extra special here. I just never post in this section. I picked up a stockish savage X on here and i dropped an Axial .28RR with a mugen 3 shoe clutch, mugen 1.0 springs and geared it 49/17. It came with rpm arms so they are staying.

I am going to pull an all nighter and get as much done as i can. The following is going into the truck.

FLM LCG extended tvp's
FLM servo plate
FLM motor plate
FLM servo mounts
FLM steering brace
Ofna linkage kit
MGT tank mounted in the front center
JR 8711 steering servo
Hitec 645MG throttle servo (gonna get some quick in a few weeks)
CEN diffs (these will be here in two weeks)

I'll try to remember to take pics and post progress.

Okay so I have a dumb ?? flm. I recently did the port / polish job as outlined in RC car action on my S25 and went with an all aluminum three shoe clutch. I had the mugen setup with a vented CB before, do you think the Mugen is a better setup??

The mugen IS an aluminum 3 shoe clutch.... Did you go with a different brand? I ran the mugen years back and loved it so that's why I went with it

I put mine together piece by piece back in '05 when I bought the truck. I used Mugen's carbon shoes, 1.0 mugen springs, an Ofna vented CB, and Ofna CB shim kit. I have something slipping somewhere since I rebuilt the truck with the alum 3 shoe. But I'm not convinced it's the clutch just yet. I just haven't had time to tear into it to find the culprit.

Looks like it's gonna be a good build. I really wanted to do that with all the FLM stuff. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Here you go. I'm not going to describe each picture so just remember its progressive. :)
Had to break out the dremel a few times and apply pressure to certain points but overall it went very smooth. i only attached one tvp because i need to explore radio box ideas tomorrow. A few of the pictures show the fuel tank mounted directly to the servo plate. This was before i realized i needed to add spacers so the steering servo would fit. :)

i'll get some better pictures today. i don't know if i will do any work on it until monday but i'll post if i do.

looking nice. is the midtank mod a 'stock' feature with the FLM kit?
how much weight does it add compared to stock?

They added alot of extra holes to the front servo plate so I assume they intended for people to do some sort of expansion or addition with it. I don't know how much heavier its going to be over stock but i can get it on the bathroom scale on monday to get an idea.

I am also adding Maximixer 1/2" offset beadlocks with HPI Aggressor tires

Bling Bling !!! :hehe:

:) i was going to murder it out like the E was but i didn't feel like waiting for everything to get here from the UK. It has a glossy black body that i am going to put as low as possible so hopefully it all comes out ok.

Progressing nicely. All that machined aluminum just looks sweet!
thanks. Its coming together fairly easy as well. Alot better than my last set of tvp's. (holes were machined too small)

looks baller kurt

this is brandons old savy right?
it sure is.

i got an rc10gt rx box mounted to the side of the tvp's but i'm not sure if i like it yet. i'll post a pic tonight and let the jury decide.

I was wondering what you had to Dremel because I also have the 25 and was thinking of getting those TVP's and servo plate.
