Savage 25 won't start!

I just got my savage 25 and I'm trying to start it. It starts, but when i turn my receiver on (as it says in the manual) it completely shuts off. Please help me!

try turning the TX and RX on first ?

if you still have the same problem then either turn up idle or set the linkages again

was this doing this at factory settings ?

I just got it out of the box! I am trying to break it in. Apparently your not supposed to turn on the receiver. Thanks though!!!

You're right, per the instructions, you are not to turn the RX on for the first tank (which I think is insane, but that's another topic).

Your throttle servo is either not centered or your idle set screw needs adjusted. You need to pull the airfilter off and with the RX and TX on (but the truck not running) adjust the idle set screw until you see a 1-2mm opening, then try it.
