RX and TX charger.

Hey guys,

So I have a receiver pack and charger, but I was also thinking of getting a pack for my transmitter. Can they both be charged using the same charger, or will I have to get separate chargers? It's the standard wall charger, but I can check if my Superbrain is compatible. Help! Thanks!

The SuperBrain will charge both the receiver and transmitter packs as long as you have the right connector to do so.

Throw the overnight charger in the trash.

I have the superbrain 959 and I use it to charge 1-8 cells, so I use it for my receiver packs, glow heater and transmitter. Seems to do a good job on all of them.

I have found that a charge rate of .5A gives me longer lasting charges.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I just did the fan mod on it and it works fabulously.

I have yet to have mine overheat. I found that fan mod as well, but just haven't needed to do it. Probably would be an issue if I charged at a higher rate than I do, but otherwise, I can charge 3 receiver packs and my remote one right after the other and not have the charger overheat.

Yeah, that's true. I've only had it heat up once, but that was from charging 3 packs after another. The fan will really help out when I'm at the LHS as I charge after another after another. Should keep it at the most warm after 5 packs, but I doubt I'll ever reach using 5 packs after another.

I have a superbrain 989 and an ICE I use both for the RX and TX packs. No problems. I also agree with Robmob....overnight chargers are junk.
