This is my second set of tires. Not because of tred but because the part on the rim that accepts the hex is getting rounded. This allowing it to spinn freely. Any ideas on why. Is there any way to take off the rim and replace it. I had some talons from traxxas that got stripped. And just today a pair of anacondas. It's only on one side, the right. Both tires are barley warn, and I don't want to buy new ones just for the rims. They are pre glued rims.

Check to make sure the hex on the axle (not the wheel) isn't rounded. Best way I've seen is to boil or bake them. Check YouTube, Jang has a great video on 3 different ways.

Are you saying bake the tires or the hex. And yah the hex and rim part is stripped

i had the same problem.get some metal hexes and epoxy them into the rim hex.works best if you drimel out some notches in the rim hex.i epoxy all 4 of mine let them set over night and have not had any more issuses.

Replace the hex and the wheel, make sure you're getting the wheel nut tight. With the locking nuts, the nylon will get worn down and stop holding it on. Best is to replace them after a few times of putting them on and off, or use some threadlocker. You can try using some epoxy to hold the stripped hex in the wheel, I would't bother doing it to the new ones though.

bake the wheel

Ok I was thinking about getting some drift tires but what do you guys think is the best tire

For your rustler? I wouldn't get drift tires. Just buy some anacondas, they are a very good street tire for how much you are paying. And wrap the tires with a little masking/duct tape ( the outside of the the tire of course) and there are your drift tires. I would only tape the rear because its 2wd.

I was wanting something like the dirt hawgs. Or and offroad tire
