rustler motor

just wanted to know what motor would be the best for the rustler with the xl5 esc lookign for some more bottom end and the same or better top end?

The XL5 is only rated to 15T with a 540 and 12T with a 550 size motor, so you can't go too big.
My first electric was an XL5 Bandit and I put a 15T Dragon motor in that, and she did go better.
If you haven't already get yourself a 7 or 8 cell NiMh, or a 2s lipo. You WILL notice a BIG difference.

i was thinking of going with a 7 cell pak but a buddy of mine ran one in his slash and almost melted the bottom of the battery holder it got so hot.
