RPM parts do break!

I was beating on the Slash today and popped a shaft off of a yoke...No biggie, I have plenty of extras! So went inside to put a new one on and noticed this

Luckily I have the stock arms to keep me running, now I get to experience RPM's warranty and customer service first hand.

I was running with ImBroken at Boggy Creek in Orlando, he nailed a railroad tie at wot, the crack could be heard a hundred feet away, he snapped an upper and lower RPM arm on his 21 converted Maxx.

Good thing he had the RPM stuff, if it had been a stock maxx, there probably would have just been a poof and it would have been gone

You should add after the poof and it would be gone "in a cloud of stock plastic dust."

It just goes to show that it takes quite a bit to break RPM parts. When I broke the hinge pins out of the bumper on my RC-18t, I didn't even bother sending it back to RPM. The part was cheap enough to just replace it. $7 didn't break the bank.

Thats what i think.. wen i broke my upper left RPM arm Cause I'm in Australia its more of a hassle to send it back.. my LHS(5min away) sells them for 12.50..

The great thing is that the parts are darn near indestructable unless you do something stupid or find one of those stupid running trees.

It's a rare sight for sure, but I have seen a Aussie who broke a RPM arm on his LST. It was in five pieces or more. He sent them a mail plus a link to the video where it happened(launching the truck of a 10 feet MX ramp, I kid you not), RPM said they didn't consider that "normal" use.

*knock on wood* but i have never broken an RPM part and all my revo's have rpm a-arms on all 4 corners and i beat mine pretty hard and they haven't broken yet, but congrats on finding the breaking point
