Well I was at the local hobby shop yesterday, killing time. I was just shooting the breez with a couple guys that work there. Then as I left, I thought, wonder if they have the new 08 chevy truck body yet. So I'm going threw all the bodies, and this name catches my eye. ROOT RIPPER. I think what the hell is that, took all the bodies off the shelf in front of it and there it was. A golf cart body with cage and all, I started giggling like a kid thinking my dads friend would poop if I painted this like his rhino. Only problem it was for a 2.5. So I'm looking at it, and said who cares, this may be my last chance to get one because proline no longer makes it so... I bought it. Its the coolest looking body I have seen and the ideas just started to poor in for paint schems. But I have a couple of questions. How do you guys get that flat black look, do you paint the out side? Also I'm looking and throwing around the idea of a air brush, dose any one know of a cheapy like around a hundred bucks, dual action, and maby hook it up to my compresser? I want to give this body the pait it deserves, and I'm thinking air brush is the only way to go. Any way, thanks for the help in advance.
