Rocktober crawl event is tomorrow!!!!!

tomorrow my son Vegeta, and i are headed back to the woods for another rc camping trip!!!
this time we checked the forecast not even suposed to be any clouds untill 2 days after the event.
we plan on hitting more trails this event than we have before. hoping to see @JoJo tiny truckdriver again as well.didnt have much time to pack as works been nuts but i got off a little early to get started.
the Jeep has a little less room than i need sadly so i had to get creative.
the lineup:
scx6~~ there are 2 trails that are specifically for 6th scale, larger obtacles and such. stoked to try it out
redcat ascent tow truck~~ its cool and insanely capable, i plan on beating the barn with the tow rig
element ecto~~ my favorite crawler, right now its rocking a silly rear wheel steer idea, but its doodoo. too much bump steer, I'm bringing the stock axle with me and plan on swapping it out while i recharge mah battries.
cen f450~~ my only other rig with lights, gonna take it on the night crawl... o man this might not end well....
axial basecamp~~ my sons baby, it has lights and will be the other truck for the night run
axial ryft~~ gonna rip this thing up the creek i believe, or trade it for something possibly??????
axial wraith~~ it got some aluminum axles and hasnt really been tested since they were installed, gonna find out the fun way if i forgot any locktite!!

i was gonna try to get us some carbon kits to build this winter but the funds hate me lol fml

We will have the new barn open all weekend for 1/14 scale trucks and equipment as we have at past events.

We will have a dirt pile set up and all are welcome to spectate or join in!

*Please note there are absolutely NO CRAWLERS allowed in the new barn.

The RC Haunted Trail​

• Saturday 10/11/25 8pm EST
• Look for the ghost in the main field by the tent area, follow the trail of ghost down the ATV trail, we will also have banners set up!
• Trail at your own risk
• There will be a quick exit if you don’t want to do the entire trail

Kids Trail or Treat​

• Saturday 10/11/25 4pm EST
• Look for the ghost in the main field by the tent area we will also have banners set up!
• Everyone is welcome to dress up, just please make sure all costumes are child friendly!

maysville, ky its a smaller event than the Beat the Creek event they host each year, so we should get more chances to hit the trails, its been a blast the past 2 times tho, most fun i have all year

hey guys I'm going to be at this years BTC, will be my first rc event and sadly I'm goin solo dolo. just me and my rc's
stoked AF tho. really look forward to it, if anyone else if going to go or plans to go it would be cool to meet up and crawl for a bit or to just say hey.

I love it
No lines no waiting and its more a out the crawling that the purchasing which is really cool.
That being said I purchased a 6x6 lol
A cross bison xl
Its noice! Never had a truck with lights
Its different. Huge battery drain and so many options. Allegedly i can lock each wheel independently.... why would I want to do that?? I'm not sure yet.
Its currently brushed stock
When we get home I'm gonna scavenge a hw fusion pro from a truck to throw into this.
Shiw and shine was a little smaller but still saw some really great rides
Ill do a photo and video dump after we get home.
Taking the mule out for its second actual trail run today. I'm hoping it performs well.

start off with the damage!!!i lost a wheelnut on the cen, i think my all thread is too short, not letting it bite into the dually adapter i have installed. thinking of going in a new direction tih the cen for a bit.
my son broke another axle housing, i swear this is the only part hes broken. and hes done it i think 4 times, this time he also los tthe internals, so gonna have to order an entire new axle set, thinking its time to throw some aluminm on it for him
he drove the tow truck the rest of the weekend, happily he loved it, hes always so picky about only wanting to drive his truck, i respect his choice tho so never really push it, but I'm secretly happy he drove something else for once lol. i mean we brought 10 trucks and if he hadnt broken his id have not had time to drive em all!!
the cen smashed thru trail #2 like a champ, it didnt crawl but it jumped its way thru lol
the Old man only ran for about 20 feet before i regretted the rear wheel steer. that idea was a flop so i gotta swap out the rear axle soonish, its down until i do.
the Mule handled trail 6 really well, not the most amazing but it had some serious competition to contend with, he was up against some seriously wicked machines
the ryft ripped a few times around but i am 99% certain i am missing a bearing, i must have missed it when i put it together so its on the shelf until i get a bearing set in.
the wraith didnt get to run sadly, i saw some really cool wraiths running tho, i just didnt have time
basecamp broke as stated
tow truck (redcat ascent fusion not the pro) handled everything likw it was nothing. that truck NEVER lets me down, even with the trash tires i have on the dually setup, it still just powers and crawls up over or thru. aint afraid to fly either!
vegeta also ran his ascent 18, he loves those smaller trucks, they had a cool trail just for the smaller scale stuff we didnt run it as we onl yhave the one, but I'm for sure going to be picking up an 18th scale for myself, just not sure which one i want yet... the struggle
he also ran the ax24 a little on the hill, and his new rc4wd trailfinder2 he picked up.
