Rgt 136100 v3 esc

Hello everyone, newbie here. Please help with an issue. I bought a rc crawler rgt 136100 v3 with flysky esc and transmitter. Am trying to install an ess dual sound kit. Cannot calibrate the ess dual as esc has no channel 2, the throttle channel. Pls advice. Appreciate the help.

it does have a channel 2 you just are not familiar with the rc. now channel 2 is esc thats the little square thing on rear of rc with body off. the antennas coming out of it. you will need a Y harness for the rx(that's receiver)

Thanks for the replies. The ess dual does supply the Y harness. I am aware of the esc box. Unfortunately, for this esc which was developed jointly by flysky n hobby wing, the ch 2 is interfaced into the esc and motor as a 3 in1. It only has ch 1 for servo, channel 3 n 4 are for its light features. This was told to me by the tech support at flysky customer service.
New question: is it possible to tap into the wires leading to the rc 390 motors and link the ess from there? Since the ess dual needs the throttle revs to calibrate won't the motors produce revs too? Or will the voltage be different? But the motors have only 2 wires and the connectors to esc has 3. Is it viable? Thanks again.

not possible with a 3 in 1 .. tapping into motor wires wont do it either

Any other ways of doing it? Not wanting to change the esc n remote as this model has some good features built in. Thanks for taking the time..

I've never heard of a rgt 136100 v3 so its hard for me to give any input. What Transmitter and receiver are you using?

The transmitter comes together with crawler. Flysky n hobbywing development. Esc is flysky hw 711. It's a 3 in 1 esc, receiver n light kit combo.

I literally can't find that ESC 3 in 1 anywhere online except a tiny little pic on banggood where its sold. Can you take a clear up close picture of the HW-711 and post it up here?

Hope this is clear enough. As you can see, no ch2 for throttle..

you have ch 3 n 4 use on of those or get the correct 2 wire plug and use the designated light channels..

Tried. Cannot calibrate the ess. It needs a throttle channel to calibrate b4 it can be used. Thanks for your help though..

Yeah, that ESS isnt compatible with that set up. Since the ESC and RX are all one unit they do not have a channel 2 on the combo unit because theres no seperate RX to plug the ESC in to. Without switching to a stand alone ESC and RX I dont believe you'll be able to make that work in that kit. Id prolly just save it for your next 1/10 scale kit that has separate electronics.

Has anyone had any luck installing the ESS on a Losi LMT with the stock Radio and receiver??? Both the + and - are just flashing. I got it to work for a few and then it stopped again.
