I cannot get my Revo to start. I still have the EZ-Start and it seems to be OK, but the engine itself is not making any noise when I try to start it. Its not taking on any fuel either - priming is not doing anything to draw any fuel. Ideas where to start trouble shooting.

Thanks,

Dave

first of all this is in the wrong section. one of the mods should fix that. okay is you back pressure line on. there is a tube coming out of your exhaust that should go to the top of the tank. if its not connected you aren't getting any pressure therefore no prime to start.

It's most likely your OWB (one way bearing). You can usually take it out and clean it with denatured alcohol or some simple green. Just make sure whatever you use to clean it, you get it good and dried off before reinstalling. I've had OWBs stop working just because of the temps being low too. You can try preheating the motor with a hair dryer or heat gun and see if that helps. That will usually at least let you know if that's the problem.

Priming did finally work. Still not firing up.

I thought this was the General section. What section do you suggest I post this in Suicide?

Where is the one way bearing?

well the only reason i said this was the wrong forum is there is a specific revo forum but i don't care, i was just telling you. the OWB is in the back of the easy starter system.

When you say not making any noise, I'm assuming it's not turning. As far as OWB, that is only if the ez start motor is turning and the motor is not. If you are seeing green lights on the ez starter but nothing is happening then perhaps you need to clear the cylinder.

As a previous post mentions, there is a lot of troubleshooting information is the forums. As a once noob myself, taking the time to search for the solution will not only allow you to fix it, but will inevitably educate you on future issues not yet experienced. These guys are awesome and will inevitably answer your question but lets try to help them keep their enthusiam by avoiding redundance
