Revo vs. Savage. Which is better for the bang?

I'm a newb and trying to decide on the savage or the revo. which is better and why?

The savage is a good basher strong and tuff good for bashing.But the savage is not much of a racer out of the box. The Revo is a good racer out of the box. fast agile and well just plain cool with the F1 inspierd shock design

just wondering cause auction is about to end on a savage. just want to get a good truck of hand and not have to worry about getting a nice truck once i figure the mechanics of these toys out.

what will i need to complete the kit? does it have a radio?

its a ss kit. doesn't have a radio or servo's.
if ya dont want to spend that lot of money then go with the 25 rtr. you wont need anything else. all is in the package.
if ya got the money then helll go with the new 46 savage. i know i would.

the revo is 1:10 and has a 2,5cc engine.
the savage is 1:8 and comes with either a 25 or 28 engine.
if ya want big and a thing that doesn't stop for anything then go with the savage.
you want a truck that likes to race on a ofroad track. then go with the revo
