Check out McMaster Carr, once you figure out the screws you need you'll get 50x as many screws for 1/2 the price. Best off doing it with a couple of guys cause you get like 100 screws for $3-$5. Just don't get that cute little plastic box! LOL

RPM rocks !!

Well today I got a package from RPM:banana: They sent me a brand new axle carrier along with the old bearings and dust boots I sent them lol It only cost me .88 cents to mail the broken axle carrier to them and they never once tried to contact me about it or anything. I just had to send them a breif statment as to what happened to the part or what I thought happened. Now I just need me a pinion for the Revo and I can put her back together....well a tie rod screw also :(

Ya, I bought a set of RPM axel carriers for backs up just incase this happens again and they came with bearings as well. That way I want have that much down time waiting on RPM. Although I must say they wasn't that bad in receiving the old part and shipping out a new part. If this is anything to go by with RPM, I will strongly look for other parts made by them in the future.

Just need a Pinion gear and a tie rod screw to gitter done. I pretty much reached my spending this month on this crap and got to wait until next month :(

Ray, do ya need us to tell you how to get the pillow balls back in?!?

J/K! :)

Now that I've had some time to cool down from this reply...I can finnaly respond to this  J/k

Anyways, if you can believe it, I just got the Revo screwed back together 5 mins ago :OMG: I was kind of waiting on a bigger parts list to order stuff again...Tower Hobby gives you that 30.00 bux off if you order 199.00 in goods. Lets just say they let you do it more than once ;) Now don't even ask me how long it took to do it lol Just say it's better to do this while everything is still freash in your mind ;)

Any how as you can tell it's pretty late and even though my wife is out of town and where moving soon, I'll spare the neighbors on testing the truck out. It's probaly wouldn't be a good idea with this spool either. So this gives me a chance to charger the batteries and change the ones in the raido. Now I just have to figure out how to install my FS:ponder2:

Well here is a finnished truck...it's pretty much stock accept a few aluminum things I added.

I know, I should have sprung the extra 20.00 bux for the aluminum spring retainers...but I was really trying to watch my spending at the time.

It looks kinda bare without a Transmession aluminum something but I didn't like what they had at the time.

Thanks

PS when you got extra parts, look real hard where they may go. I had an extra pin I couldn't figure out to save my life. Well as normal I like to drop my trucks a foot or two to make sure things work right and sound good. This time around something sounded like it bottomed out. I scratched my head for ever but couldn't figure it out. Well the truck fell over from me flipping it around looking. When I reached for a tire to pull it back over, the tire poped off lol That pin went to the Dog bone on a shaft. I'm sure glad I figured it out now instead of on the field.

Looks good Ray. For bashing yuo might need the alum spring retainers but I have never had a problem when racing.

When are you moving?

Dude you don't even want to know what the move in date is right now:OMG: I love my wife but dang this is draging out to long lol It's awsome looking but it's moving at a snail's pace. I'll try and remember to shoot some pictures of it this weekend.

Anyways, As for the Revo, I was really debating hard about those aluminum spring retainers. Then when I got to messing with the truck today, I reallized I should have gotten them. When I order them, I'm also thinking about chaning my springs up a little. You got any ideas on some bashing springs?

Thanks
Ray

I use Slayden's recommended gold/orange combo for racing, but that would be too soft for hard bashing. I would go up in shock oil and also consider the green/black combo, if I remember the Traxxas scale correctly. Those springs the next to the stiffest springs.
