The wheel nuts to keep my wheels on keep spinning off. Even when i put thread lock on. If anyone knows how to keep these nuts from spinning off i would be grateful. If the nuts weren't 10 bucks for 4 of them i wouldn't care as much when i lose a nut from it spinning off

clean them from or wash them in hot soapy water to wash of all the oils etc and then use lock on...
also are they new or used?maybe is just time to get a new ones?

Yes They are new nuts. I have had to replace all of them about twice because they spin off and it is almost impossible to find them. The tires are easy to find. I'll try the soap but the nuts are basically brand new nuts.

What kind of threadlock are you using? Liquid, stick or gel? Also, is it the blue stuff?

I've found that the liquid stuff doesn't work worth beans on wheel nuts. The gel stuff works the best. It's thick enough to fill in the coarser threads.

if thread lock fails, then try a tiny (and i DO mean TINY) drop of thin cheap superglue. I do it with my buggy wheel nuts, works like a charm and i have not lost one since. i do use a good ring spanner though, just so the nut edges don't get rounded out.

new nuts, and threadlock should hold them.. if not maybe check your hexes. i know when i would kill a hex on my savage, that is how i would know. the nut would spin off and i would loose the wheel.

It is the blue stuff. I havent seen gel thread lock. I'll look for it.

an idea just came to me..........try drilling a hole thu your hex drive and use a body clip!? If you try this and works let me know so I can do it on my revo!
