Revo 3.3 battery

Hey every one. Knew guy here.
This is my first ever traxxas revo 3.3.
The battery for the receiver is a 5 cell 1100 mah nimh 6v.
I was wondering If I could buy a higher mah nimh battery. My concern is with a higher mah also comes a higher voltage. Will that be ok or do I have to stick to a 6v.

I am going to run a wolunstart remote start system and run it off of a venom lipo shorty pack. It has 4600mah but it also is a starting system. It’s also a 7.4v battery but the wolunstart system should restrict that. The wolunstart system is also a little pricey in my opionion. Just a thought.
