Can the clutch remain on the engine?
I'm not a nitro guy, and Littlemotor is sleeping. You'll have to wait til he gets back on. The whole engine gets that hot while running, so I would assume it's fine.

But yes, the 200° is fahrenheit. Celsius would be 93.33333333333° 😅

Inset the oven to 100 Cels, its being there since 15 minutes, probably will be ok. After pulling out of the oven I will put back the plate and try to rotate it. A 14mm nut fits on the hex.

This is brand new. I gonna be killed when I use this :)))))

So whats the next step? Spray WD into the intake? It turns without problem 😎

Take it apart and clean thoroughly. I am of no help from here on, if I even was at all 😆

The crank is rotating with Recoil starter. Let’s see if the carb is ok (I believe the throttle valve was seized too). I have only very-very old nitro fuel at home (it was strored in a dry and dark place) but I would rather order new one, and probably a new fuel tank too..

You might want to replace the fuel lines too. They are cheap and so easy since the motor and tank will bo out too!
Nice job with the motor!!! 😎
Def continue with a complete teardown and clean up of all parts. 👍
Get as much gunk out of the engine as possible. (using caution, parts are still easy to damage and score) .
This is the time to inspect everything for damage and replace.

Well, I think I will remove the carb again, it gets a WD40 bath and some brake cleaner. The tank was more or oess OK, the choke was broken hence was glued with some 2K-stuff. When I looked into the crank house (intake side), it was quite clean.
Is old nitro only good for cleaning parts or grill lighter or should I try a start with it?

@Littlemotor just posted a great link on nitro motors and now I can't find it to link to you.

The old fuel... save it for later or use it to clean.
If its still good, great! But use NEW fuel while you are trying to get your engine started and dialed in.
THEN if you still want to try, use the old fuel and see how it goes.
