Hey everyone I’ve searched and haven’t found what I’m looking for. I have an old school Tmaxx 2.5 from a few decades ago. I still like to get it out a few times a year and it still fires up every time. Buut it’s time to replace the 6v pack. I’m looking at new ones and they’re a bit different than the one I soldered in years ago. How do I go about hooking up a new pack? I need other plugs and off switch? Thanks for any input.

I would clip the wires close to the dead pack and crimp on a JR connector (same as servos use), and get a battery with the same, like this. You'd also need a charger to accommodate that plug though, which you could make an adapter for with the same crimp kit.
