Recommended replacement shocks for the MGT?

So I'm thinking it's about time to replace the stock shocks on my MGT with something decent and affordable.

What shocks should I be sticking on my MGT?

My dad has the factory team aluminum shocks and aluminum caps and they work great.

A buddy has the proline powerstrokes on his tnx (I know different truck) but they work great and imagine they would work similar in the mgt

Anyone know if the powerstrokes mount right up to the MGT without modification, or with little modification?

powerstrokes are awsome on the mgt.have them on my ride.you have to get the hardware kit and will mount right up to the shock towers however i belive pro-line does not make the powerstoke shock kits anymore.i heard about this about a year ago and i had my lhs get as many rebuild kits yhat he could get me i have enough to do about 40 shocks.

The powerstrokes will fit onto the MGT but you will need to get the hardware for you to use it. Proline has a a kit for that... Fleabay may have them both...

I have the powerstrokes. I love them.
The look nice and work great. The truck drives like a dream. I run the white/grey springs.

I would prefer to have the powerstrokes with the kit to make it fit on my MGT but I can't find anywhere that has them.

If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

Otherwise - are either of these sets good for bashing?

Your best bet to find the Powerstrokes is on ebay or try trolling RCTech. Proline discontinued them.

I am thinking I will pull the set off my Gorillamaxx and throw them on ebay. My dad has a set brand new in the package. I may have to make off with them as well and sell em.
