rebuilding OS .21 rx need help

The piston one side is longer than the other does the short side go towards the exaust are does the long side. Thanks for looking and thanks for any help you can give.

also the connecting rod seems to be a slight bit larger bevel on one side than the other . Does the bevel go towards are away from the crankshaft.

that short side goes toward the front of the engine not the exhaust.

I am pretty sure it goes towared the crankshaft so when the air comes in through the filter it has less resistance when coming in but I am not 100% sure

Do an internet search on that engine, and try including the words "Exploded View"
You'll probably find the info you need.
